Roanoke Virginia Pride

Men,
The link is to our local Pride Event held in September of each year. To put it bluntly, I never go: I call it Roanoke's annual salute to drag. We ALL know how I feel about drag......

But there's a question I need to ask: Is it appropriate to lionize a disbarred, former Nixon worker, Attorney as a "hero" of the local gay movement, even if he IS the voice of the gay community? That is what The Pride Committee did this yeah at the festival to Mr. Sam Garrison. Washington Post obit here.


I know this is tasteless, seeing as how he recently died, but every time a gay issue was on the local news, there he was putting in his two-cents worth.

Let this Redneck know!!!!! I just don't see it........

When society, especially Conservatives, have made it so hard on gay men to be themselves that they have to find sex when and where they can get it, is it appropriate to do this in a PUBLIC restroom where children are present?
